In January 2009 THE BLOW WAVES hosted one of Midsumma biggest and best official events – CIRCUS! CIRCUS! All those butch freaks, boy treats, clown chubs, ringmasters, bearded hicks, carnivores, she freaks and sideshow sally’s rolled up into one of the hottest carnal carnivals in town!
The night took place over two debauched floors of the Big Top at Melbourne’s own legendary live music hot spot: The Tote Hotel.
Swinging alonging in the gallows with THE BLOW WAVES were Sydney’s finest high flying sub sonic femme gems: THE BLUSH FOUNDATION, alongside Sydney’s fiercest electro kids: GHETTO PUSSY, plus DJs SVETA and SEYMOUR BUTZ kept it dank and dirty for the sweating pleasure of the carnie kids.
